Sea View

A DH2413 ADVANCED INTERACTION AND GRAPHICS PROJECT

Sea View is an interactive VR experience like no other! Throw yourself out on the high seas while defending your ship from vicious enemies. With a physical cannon in the real world, you experience immersion in a way that a standard VR controller could never do. Moving the cannon around to aim will seamlessly mirror your aiming in the virtual environment making for intuitive and realistic controls. The mission (should you choose to accept it), is to shoot at the opposing ships, bringing them down before it is too late!

What are you waiting for? Grab the cannon and fire away!

Philip Berrez

I implemented the existing ocean shader and did the general debugging concerning it, such as rendering it to the VR headset.
I also added a day and night cycle and postprocessing to make it look visually interesting

My Andersson

I have mainly worked with adjusting water effects, implementing the skybox, and adding fog to the scene.

Sebaztian Johansson

My main focus was making sure the VR parts of the project were correctly aligned with the real world’s, together with work on the scoring system and physical interactions. I also spent a fair amount of my time helping debug problems that arised.

Zebastian Kensert Forsman

I worked on the scoring system and the particle effects used for the cannonball’s smoke trail and explosion, and the torch’s fire.

Patrik Lundqvist

Physical interaction design and construction. I also worked with the cannon 3D model, enemy AI logic/design and sound design.
